Forum Extended Care Services, one of the largest independent long-term care (LTC) pharmacies in the Midwest, hosted its 4th annual Forum on Post- Acute and Long-Term Care on June 7 in Oak Brook, Illinois. Back by popular demand, the symposium drew record crowds and allowed Nursing Home Administrators and Directors of Nursing to earn 6 hours of continuing education credits (CEUs). The all-day event provided valuable insights on timely issues facing skilled nursing and assisted living, including sessions on PDPM, quality assurance, compliance, state regulations, and clinical education by engaging speakers with real-world industry and government experience. Forum’s Leadership, Clinical, and Concierge teams were on hand to welcome attendees. “I am so pleased that we can provide value through continuing education programs that benefit our healthcare provider partners at no cost to them,” said Brian Kramer, RPh, MBA, President of Forum. “We are gratified by the enthusiastic response of our participants and appreciate our sponsors for their support in this important endeavor. We look forward to expanding next year’s program to provide valuable learning for long-term care and assisted living communities alike.”
