Forum Extended Care Services was named as one of Illinois’ 2024 Best Places to Work for the fourth year in a row. Forum was one of only 14 companies selected in the medium employer category (100-499 U.S. employees) in the statewide survey and awards program.

Sponsored by Shaker Recruitment Marketing and Daily Herald Suburban Business, the program is designed to recognize Illinois’ best places of employment. Each submission is judged in two parts: the first is based on the review of a company’s policies, practices, and demographics; the second and more heavily weighted is an employee survey measuring the employee experience.

“Receiving this distinction four years in a row is a testament to our team members, who are the cornerstone of our success,” said Brian Kramer, RPh, MBA, President & CIO.

“As a long-term care pharmacy, our team has an incredibly important job that requires a high degree of accuracy and quality control. Fulfilling the needs of our senior population demands exceptional cooperation and commitment,” he added. “This recognition, based on positive feedback, reflects the collaborative spirit and dedication that define our organization.”

Frances Impasto, VP of Pharmacy Operations, couldn’t agree more. She appreciates her coworkers’ compassion, teamwork, and unwavering support. She began working part-time on 2nd shift in 2001, and over the years she was continually promoted for her savvy and strong work ethic. “The people here—they are my second family.” Impasto said. “I love that we try to work smarter and invest in each other.”

Rooted in the key principle of engaging employees in all aspects of the Forum experience, team members have created a culture that depends on employee diversity for its strength, and success is based on everyone’s efforts, contributions, and honest communication. Creating value for customers is what guides employees in actively making suggestions and being a part of driving those changes. The Forum culture is one of professional development, personal growth, and celebration.

Final rankings were published on June 23 with category rankings and select company profiles, and distributed to subscribers of the Daily Herald Suburban Business and available online at dailyherald.com.
