Joanne Cu Named Health 2.0 Visionary
The International Forum on Advancements in Healthcare (IFAH) honored Joanne Cu, Senior Vice President of Finance and Corporate Compliance for Forum Extended Care Services, with its prestigious Health Care Visionaries Award. She received the accolade at the Health 2.0 Conference, held March 18-20 in Las Vegas, NV.
Honoring the brightest minds and organizations that have made immense progress in the healthcare industry, it comprises five parameters: overall reach, industry impact, spirit of innovation, future readiness, and market demand. After careful consideration and extensive research, the committee and IFAH management rate each applicant on every parameter in selecting the final honorees.
“For decades, Joanne has been an integral part of the Forum team,” commented Pamela Bryan Kramer, Forum’s Executive Vice President. ”She is at the forefront of high-caliber, modern practices, continually improving and innovating to ensure excellence. We are thrilled that IFAH recognized what we see every day: dedication and determination on behalf of patients.”
After working with a skilled nursing provider, Cu joined Forum in 2004 as Billing and Reimbursement Manager. Through increasingly expanding assignments, she advanced to her current position and serves as the company’s Chief Compliance Officer. Cu holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Economics and a Master’s in Business Administration, and is a Licensed Pharmacy Technician. She also has received certification in Business Information Systems and Healthcare Compliance and holds a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
The Health 2.0 Conference reviews promising advancements and opportunities in healthcare, life sciences, biotech, and wellness. This top healthcare conference aims to bring new ideas, scam/fraud identification strategies for health insurers, novel approaches for researchers, and success pathways for healthcare providers under one roof, along with further information on how healthcare systems are evolving around the world.
